Two days no writing in my blog … I don’t want to continue to write about family. What for? Diving into politics over the last two days told me that this is my way to escape going into “down” or heavy moods. And this is okay but I can do better, focusing on the idea to write for children.
My favorite writer of children’s books is Erich Kästner. How will I feel about his books today? I also loved the series of books from Enid Blyton like “The Secret Seven” and “The Famous Five”. And there was an American pictured series about a guy called “Andy” and the adventures he met with his dog “Bessie/Bessy”, a Scotch Collie. Not sure if I remember their names correctly. I will read children’s books again.
This brought me a step further: adventure stories for children. Sticking with what I liked. I will write in German. My English vocabulary is poor compared to German. Many more questions on my mind.
Calming down my head because the questions shoot at me and are not important now. I will find the answers while I’m reading children’s books, not only from my favorite writers mentioned above. I will not reveal first ideas here. As soon as I know the direction and the cornerstones i might simply share a short story here in a new category.
