Usually I meant: The Wonder Called “Me”, meaning that I am on a journey to find myself. But somehow it also means that things happen which make me wonder.
I am a German living in the UK. I struggled if I should write in English or German. Germans usually understand English but people from English speaking countries usually don’t understand German. But there is another reason for me to write in English: to get rid of my tendency to be perfect in English writing. It is interesting: because I can bear the mistakes I make in talking, sometimes they are even funny. For example the German word for insulation is Isolierung or Isolation. So I told a friend that we could isolate the window. Imagine the baffled expression of her face.
But writing in English? Up to now nothing was published or sent via mail without being checked for quite a lot of possible mistakes. Can you imagine what a torture applications are for me?
Anyhow, this is my blog, it is personal and if I’m not clear in what I write, you are invited to ask. This helps me to improve my English.
